Lindsay Lohan Confirms She's Releasing Another Album

It's not just "Rumors."

Lindsay Lohan confirmed she will be recording a third record—following Speak in 2004 and A Little More Personal (Raw) the following year—yesterday at Toronto Pride, where she joined Mean Girls cast mates Dan Franzese and Rajiv Surendra for a special screening. (Lohan streamed in via video uplink.)

Both LiLo's albums were commercial successes, and you don't have to insure singers the way you do actors (we don't think), so it's a bit of a no-brainer to do another.

"I have to record another album for Universal/Motown. And I will," she declared, before explaining that it might be a while because she doesn't want to overshadow her kid sister, Ali, and her (apparently) burgeoning music career.

"My sister is signed to EMI. She's recording a record," said Lohan. "Her voice is like... Etta James meets Adele. I want to respect her in that lane and stay in my lane working with children and creating films and writing and directing. I will sing in my films, but I want her to sing in them as well."

The former child star said as much as she's dying to lay some tracks "I don't want my sister to hate me."
