Lindsay Lohan stopped by Late Show last night to promote her role in the upcoming Scary Movie 5. After chatting briefly about her first appearance on Letterman's show way back in 1992, and an adorable picture of a 6-year-old Lohan, things started to get awkward.

Letterman says, "you look remarkably well," with just a touch of irony and then asks Lohan if she knows that he's been making tons of jokes about her for years. Letterman then proceeds to tell these jokes to Lohan's face. Pretty ballsy of Letterman. The results fall somewhere between funny and cringe-worthy, as Letterman mocks her for shoplifting, court battles and assault. Lohan laughs along, and comes up with some pretty terrible quips, but the whole thing is sort of embarrassing.

When Letterman begins discussing addiction and rehab, Lohan says, "we've talked about this before." Letterman replies, "We have? Now I'm the one having the blackouts." Zing! And also, ouch.

At least Lohan showed up for the interview. We wish her good luck in rehab.
