Lindsay Lohan Is A Top, And 5 Other Things We Learned This Week From “Lindsay”

Lindsay2

Last week, America was reintroduced to actress-singer-trainwreck Lindsay Lohan on Lindsay, the eight-part reality series on OWN that follows the troubled starlet as she rebuilds her life and career following yet another stay in rehab.

The series’ second episode continued to chronicle Lohan's move back to New York and her rapprochement with dad Michael—neither of which are good for her recovery.

Here’s what you need to know:

Lindsay does not think alarm clocks are fetch

Much to the delight of director Amy Rice, Lindsay didn’t agree to a regular shooting schedule for her reality series. So when Saturday rolls around it’s up to Lindsay’s assistant, Matt Harrell, to try to wake her up at 2:15pm, 3pm and, eventually, 4:25pm, in a vain attempt to get her to sign a new lease on an apartment. Ugh.

Lindsay’s a wicked stepsister

Last week we saw how much Lindsay adores her siblings. But this week she tells Michael Lohan—he of "Confessions Of A Broken Heart (Daughter To Father)" fame – that she wants nothing to do with the “two other random fucking kids” he had with someone who wasn't Dina Lohan. “They’re not part of my family and they never will be,” Lindsay lovingly declares. That’s two less people who will get the unrated director’s cut Blu-ray of The Canyons for Christmas.

Lindsay’s a top

During her first meeting with her new celebrity wellness coach, A.J. Johnson, Lindsay plays a game of word association to connect with her “true, honest, pure self.” When she’s asked “top or bottom,” Lindsay laughs and replies, “top.” If that’s the case, this is quite an impressive list of bottoms.

Lindsay is deeply concerned about the wellbeing of the biking community.

While being chauffeured around New York, Lindsay and her team spot paparazzi on their trail. Her driver speeds up to lose them, but is distracted by various bicyclists. “Nick him on the back,” the Herbie: Fully Loaded star suggests about one cyclist in particular. “Give him a little tap.”

Lindsay learns being a celebrity doesn’t exempt you from New York's real estate circus.

Although it does mean that you can have the production company for your reality show put up your advance as deposit money on an apartment.  It also means that when you finally get the keys to your apartment, it’s got a private elevator that opens up in your living room, a la The Jetsons.

Lindsay is mum about a third record.

We loved Lindsay in The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday and Mean Girls. But with addictive bangers like “Rumors” and “Bossy,” there’s a bonafide pop star inside that we’d love to see be given a chance to thrive. We’ve still got six episodes to find out where Lohan’s career aspirations are heading, and with any luck, she’ll be able to channel her past few chaotic years into one hell of an introspective album.

Lindsay airs Sundays at 10/9c on OWN
