While the rest of the world remains brainwashed by all things Royal Wedding this weekend, my interest has been directed on Jessie J, a Brit who’s talent is worthy of just as much pandemonium.
The 23-year-old singer—who’s first album, Who You Are, debuted at #11 on the Billboard 200 two weeks ago—found her start singing background for the likes of Cyndi Lauper and songwriting for other artists (she penned Miley Cyrus’ infectious hit “Party in The U.S.A”).
“Technology”, a song that surfaced on the web this week, was first performed by the singer at some of her early gigs. While it’s not as grand as her newer material, it’s definitely worth a listen.
