Life Ball In Vienna Welcomes Club Queens, "Drag Race" Stars, And Naomi Campbell
This weekend, Vienna played host to the Life Ball, the glamorous international benefit for HIV/AIDS. Conchita Wurst was the official host of the gala, held annually in the Austrian capital's City Hall. This year's theme was "Recognize the Danger," with visuals inspired by artists of the 1920s and 1930s like German painter Otto Dix.
Drag Race alums Thorgy Thor, Pearl, and Violet Chachki dazzled with spectacular ensembles.
Also in attendance were club queens Amanda Lepore, Susanne Bartsch and Ladyfag, music legend Dionne Warwick, and Cheyenne Parker and Brandon Osorio of LogoTV’s Fire Island. “Recognize the danger... live your truth... know your status!” Parker wrote on Instagram. “We're living it up on the red carpet... truly a one of kind experience.”
At 50, Naomi Campbell proved she's still a stunner.
Since its debut in 1993, Life Ball has given a platform to HIV/AIDS activists and fought to remove the stigma surrounding the virus. The event is organized by AIDS Life, an Austrian nonprofit organization.
