Liveblogging "Days Of Our Lives" Putting The "F.U." In Funeral

Screw you, show.

"Salem mourns one of its most beloved citizens during a heartbreaking funeral." OMG, someone else died?

Just kidding! Rest In Peace, Will Horton.

People have been asking if this is the last liveblog. Sonny has one more episode on Thursday, so we'll be here for that. As for the future, there will be more liveblogs, but they may be few and far between depending on what happens with Paul. Hey, did whosit and whatsisface get married on General Hospital yet? Hmm ...

And here we go. The funeral starts, with Sonny looking at a memorial picture of Will and almost breaking down. He notices Gabi, who has brought Ari, and she asks if it's okay that she be there. He walks over to Ari, tears in his eyes, and it's heartbreaking. He tells Gabi that Ari should be there.

Sami sees Kate, and they embrace and start crying. Hey! What the hell is Roman is doing there? Was he just passing through and saw a funeral and decided to stop?

Marlena is the first one to speak, makes a crack about becoming a great-grandmother, prompting John to laugh inappropriately. She talks about when Will came out, and how she was proud of his courage and determination, and she will "miss him every day. I will miss his words." Thanks god she got through it without using the word "delicious."

Kate's turn, and she looks fabulous. Nothing says "I'm mourning my dead grandson" like a plunging neckline. And she wore her special green extensions, which she only wears for funerals or corporate takeovers.

Lucas heads up, and says "Will was my best friend, and now I have to go on without him." Lucas must be delusional with grief. He mentions something about Will and Tad having backstage passes to Green Day. Green Day? Please. We all know it was Magic Coach.

Abby wants to go up next, but she's feeling air-headed, i mean light headed, and asks Ben to go up and say something instead. AWKWARD!

Ben shakes his head, and tells her it's not his place to go up and speak. Sami goes up next, and says 'there is this hole in my heart that will never be filled." She finishes with 'I will love you to the moon and back. Forever." You can sense some of Alison's anger.

It's Sonny's turn, and tells everyone about the book he gave Will when they got engaged called Maurice. I hate to be that nitpicky funeral guy, but it's pronounced "Morris." Just for future funerals, Sonny.

He says "a piece of my heart is going to be buried with him today," and "tell your loved ones everyday that you love them, because you never know when you might not get another chance."

Kayla tells Caroline that Will has been murdered. Sadly, we won't be able to see Caroline's funeral vest.

The service ends, with Sonny crying and dropping a flower on the casket, and Sami collapsing into Lucas' arms

Wait. IS THAT IT? Are you kidding me? I can't be the only one who was expecting, and wishing for this ..

At the pub, Sami apologizes for giving Sonny the brush off, and tells him that of course she doesn't blame him for what happened, and Will wouldn't want him to blame himself either. SNORK! Of course he would.

Sonny and Gabi take Ari out for fresh air, and as Sami looks on in astonishment, Andre enters the pub, offering his condolences.

He tells everyone "In Will's honor, I'd like to apologize to anyone in this room i've ever hurt."

So Will doesn't even get a whole episode? He has to be upstaged.

Roman punches Andre, and all hell breaks loose, with Sami finally blowing up. Some helpful exposition is given about Andre's crimes, and then he takes his leave, informing everyone that Stefano is his biological father, and he's here to help out Chad.

At least Sonny gets the final scene. He kneels at Will's grave and starts sobbing.

That's it! Thanks for joining me. We'll be back for Sonny's goodbye on Thursday.
