Logo is honoring the bold pioneers who have helped the LGBT community make incredible strides this year with the debut of Trailblazers on June 26 at 9pm.

A  annual event celebrating the pioneers who led the charge for LGBT equality, the one-hour special includes activists, celebrities, politicians and personalities who are transforming the cultural landscape.

The inaugural Trailblazers event coincides with the Supreme Court ruling dismantling the Defense of Marriage Act, and honors Windsor v. United States plaintiff Edie Windsor and attorney Roberta Kaplan.

“Through their courage, Edie and Roberta redefined an institution to make it open to everybody,"  said Stephen Friedman, President of MTV and Logo. "Like the greatest civil rights pioneers, they secured a basic human freedom for all of us.”

Running over Pride weekend, the Trailblazers special also marks the 45th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, recognized as the birthplace of the modern LGBT-rights movement.

Daniel Radcliffe, a longtime supporter of the LGBT community, will present at trailblazers, with a performance by A Great Big World and special appearances by Jared Leto, Kylie Minogue, Ariana Grande, Rita Ora, Iggy Azalea, Tyler Glenn and Mary Lambert. More celebrity attendees and presenters will be named in the weeks to come.

But it's not all about boldface names: Trailblazers will also pay tribute to local heroes with Hometown Trailblazers, an initiative inviting fans to nominate friends, family and civic leaders who  are pioneers in their local communities. (Nominate your Hometown Trailblazer here.)
