Actor and model Nico Tortorella has appeared in films and television shows, including Scream 4, The Following, and most currently Younger, which will begin its sixth season on TV Land this week. They have enjoyed inhabiting different personas for various projects and report that as a result of beginning to better understand themself, they are now able to bring more to their performances. Tortorella is also the co-host of MTV's How Far Is Tattoo Far, and is set to release their second book, a follow up to last year's All of It Is You, a poetry collection. Their latest literary effort is a memoir called Space Between, due out September 17.

"I love playing other roles," Tortorella tells Logo. "I love playing people that have been written for me. But I'm at a point in my life where I'm really starting to understand what it means to play myself, and how multidimensional and dynamic all of us really are. I think only in understanding who I am, am I really able to bring all of myself to these roles that I play."
