New Love-Moji App Adds Interracial Same-Sex Couples To Your Keyboard

A new app launched by the upcoming film Loving provides a much-needed update to the emoji keyboard, adding a whole new range of interracial same-sex couples.

Apple added the first-ever same-sex couples to the emoji keyboard with an update in 2015, while later updates diversified the "yellow" couples with five new matching skin tones.

But with the new Love-Moji app, available to download for free at VoteLoving.com, you can send more than 30 new same-sex emoji couples of various ethnicities and genders posing with a heart, holding hands, and kissing.

Also to celebrate the film, which tells the real-life story of Richard and Mildred Loving, who fought to make their interracial marriage legal in Virginia in 1967, Twitter has also launched a new interracial couple emoji that auto-populates when you use the hashtags #VoteLoving or #ThisIsLoving.
