Remember Lumidee, who made the summer of 2003 sizzle with “Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)”?

Well, she never left the music scene and is back with a new single called “Party All Week,” produced by up and coming talents Sauce and Serge Requena. The singer/rapper debuted the visuals for the club banger last night, and Loco Ninja—who recently won the NewNowNext Next Best Music Video contest for his video “I’m In Love”—made a cameo to hit the dance floor with her.

“I met Loco about three years ago,” says Lumidee, “but we know a lot of the same people and were from the same place. I think he looks at me kind of like a mentor but at the same time I’m learning so much from him, his drive and talent is crazy! Just two queens of Spanish Harlem.”

Lumidee is in the process of working on her new album, To Whom It May Concern, which has yet to set a release date.

“This project is definitely a lot more real to my life than any other I put out,” she notes about her upcoming project. “Besides ‘Party All Week,’ that’s more about just letting your hair down.”
