Lupita Nyong'o Presenting At GLAAD Media Awards In L.A.

Lupita Nyong'o is making her first trip to Los Angeles since the Oscars to present at the 25th GLAAD Media Awards on April 12 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

E! personality Ross Mathews will host the ceremony, which will also include Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki, Fashion Police's Kelly Osbourne, and Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany and Jordan Gavaris.

Ellen Page is scheduled to present the Stephen F. Kolzak Award to Orange Is the New Black's Laverne Cox, while Jennifer Lopez will receive this year's Vanguard Award, given to an artist who has increased visibility and understanding of the LGBT community.

"Through her work to bring The Fosters to life and by consistently speaking out as a powerful ally, Jennifer Lopez has not only sent a message of acceptance to LGBT adults and young people, but inspired new support for our community among her many fans around the globe," said GLAAD President Sarah Kate Ellis.

GLAAD will bestow the inaugural International Advocate for Change Award on Manny de Guerre, director of the Side by Side LGBT Film Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Nominees at the ceremony include Lady Gaga, Elton John, Glee, Kill Your Darlings, Blue Is the Warmest Color, the heartbreaking documentary Bridegroom and FX’s Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell.
