The spot plays on the idea that parents are less obsessive once they have their second child, opting for a bowl cut for baby number two by the end of the clip.
Procter & Gamble has been a long time supporter of gay rights, including publicly coming out in support of marriage equality back in 2014.
That same year, the company produced an ad for Tide that featured a gay couple playfully bickering about their laundry.
