Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Jackée Harry Is "Young & Hungry," "Pretty Litle Liars: 5 Years Forward": TV THIS WEEK

What will you be watching before the Thanksgiving food coma kicks in?

If it's Monday, it's time to look ahead at the week in television.

This week, most shows take a break to get out of the way of Thanksgiving. But if you thought this was your chance to catch up on your TV backlog, the networks are also rolling out their holiday specials.

On Tuesday, ABC Family flips the calendar ahead with a Pretty Little Liars: Five Years Forward special teasing the show's highly buzzed-about time jump. TVLine reports viewers will learn about the Liars' new love interests and careers, get a tour of the new sets, see two never-before-aired scenes and (most importantly), learn how the PLL moms got out of the basement!

Then it's a new Young & Hungry Christmas special at 9pm, with Jackée Harry debuting as Yolanda's estranged sister, Jolanda. (Which feels like perfect casting.) Meanwhile Elliot (Rex Lee) is miserable without his fiancé, Alan (Bryan Safi), to share the holiday. On the bright side, his boss, Josh (Jonathan Sadowski), is willing to cheer him up.”

Siblings with rhyming names must be a theme: Tuesday's Thanksgiving episode of Scream Queens introduces us to Chad's brothers, Brad and Thad (Chad Michael Murray and Patrick Schwarzenegger). The episode also serves up appearances by Julia Duffy and Alan Thicke as the boys' parents.

If that's not your thing, there's always A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on ABC at 8pm.

Wednesday is Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston's time to schmooze with James Lipton on Inside the Actors Studio. Cranston has a pretty varied career to discuss, so this interview should be pretty good, especially with his latest role being blacklisted Spartacus screenwriter Dalton Trumbo. It airs Wednesday at 8:00pm.

What would Thanksgiving be without a parade? This year, NBC's coverage of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade promises performances from the cast of School of Rock, Fiddler on the Roof, On Your Feet! and The Wiz Live!, plus Mariah Carey, Jennifer Nettles, Panic! at the Disco, Jordin Sparks and Miss America 2016 Betty Cantrell.

CBS' coverage, meanwhile, includes a visit from Allegiance's George Takei.

The parade begins at 9am on Thanksgiving Day.

The 2015 Soul Train Awards come to BET Sunday at 8pm. This year's ceremony is hosted by Erykah Badu, with performances by Babyface, Lion Babe, Brandy, Boyz II Men, Jill Scott, Cameo and more. (We'll be rooting for Jussie Smollett who is among the nominees for Best New Artist.)

That's this week's highlights, what's on your radar for the week ahead? I'll be happy if I can pull my husband away from the Fallout 4 long enough to watch some Jessica Jones. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
