A Multi-City Tour of Madonna's Homes Past and Present

Travel around the world with the "Material Girl."

It would make sense that the Queen of Pop would want a castle (or, rather, castles) befitting her title. And, of course, being the international sensation that she is, she has set herself up in homes around the world.

For those of you who may want to catch a glimpse of Her Madgesty or pay homage at one of her former roosts, then this run down of her homes, past and present, is for you:

9425 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles

This mega mansion in Beverly Hills sits on a 1.17-acre lot tucked away from the street and any would-be lookers. The chateau-style home boasts features including nine bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, a pool, a two-story dining room, a full-size screening room, two guesthouses, a tennis court, and more. Madonna sold the property in 2013 for $19.5 million.

While in L.A., venture over to 6342 Mulholland Drive to visit this home, purchased by the Material Girl in 1993 for a reported $5 million.

Quinta do Relogio estate, Sintra, Portugal

Madonna made headlines last year when she moved to Lisbon (well, to a hilltop village located 30 minutes outside of Lisbon) and took up residence in this 16,000+ sq. ft. 18th century Moorish revival.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - APRIL 05: Exterior views of Madonna's New York City apartment building Harperley Hall on April 5, 2016 in New York City. Madonna is reportedly suing, claiming that her lease was illegally changed to state that her domestic help and children are no longer allowed to stay in the apartment when she is not there.

MDNA purchased this condo at 41 Central Park West for $7.3 million in 2005. However, don't expect to see her emerging from the building any time soon: She famously sued the building's co-op board claiming it had changed the terms of her lease while she lived there. Unfortunately for her, the suit was thrown out in 2016.

152 E. 81st Street, New York

According to Curbed, this Upper East Side mansion, which cost Madonna a hefty $32 million, boasts a gym (for which she added a floor), two master suites, a hair salon, luggage closet, and wine cellar. The home also has a nifty new gate added after the above photo was taken, presumably to protect from unwanted visitors, so you'll have to admire it from the sidewalk.

SHAFTSBURY, ENGLAND - JUNE 7: The rural Ashcombe House, home of Madonna and Guy Richie, nestles in the Dorset landscape in this aerial photo taken on June 7, 2005 above the dorset/Wiltshire border in Emgland. Cecil Beaton previously owned the house with notable guests including Salvador Dali and Rex Whistler.

Ashcombe House, Wiltshire, England

This home, located in the English countryside, is a Georgian manor house, set on 1.1 acres of land. Before Madonna and then-husband, Guy Ritchie, the estate's previous resident, Cecil Beaton, hosted famous guests like Tallulah Bankhead and Salvador Dalí. Ritchie ended up with the property as part of the couple's divorce settlement.
