The cover for MDNA, Madonna’s much-awaited album, has just made its debut on the Internet. The title, meant to be both a fusion of “Madonna” and “DNA” and a pun on “MDMA” or ecstasy, combined with the colorful, psychedelic artwork, seems to promise something very interesting for her legions of eager fans.
The queen of pop has also promised to make her upcoming performance at the Super Bowl halftime show “the greatest show that’s ever been put on before,” giving fans even more to look forward to. And, of course, something else for Elton John to mock the Material Girl about.
Pre-orders for MDNA on iTunes begins on February 3. The album will be released March 26.
