Madonna Performs "Borderline" On Jimmy Fallon

Madge gave us a smoothed-out version of one of her classics.

Jimmy Fallon had some of his biggest guests ever on last night's edition of The Tonight Show, when both President Obama and Madonna appeared.

Madonna just wrapped her wildly successful Rebel Heart tour, so it makes a certain sense that she dove into her back catalog and performed "Borderline" for the crowd. (The song was originally released on her 1983 self-titled debut album.)

Unlike the original version, which had an bubblegum perkiness to it, Madge's updated take was more soulful—hinting at a woman who's had one-too-many lovers "playing with my heart."

She admitted to being ”speechless" when she met the president (which should probably be noted as some kind of miracle).

A relaxed Obama talked about his final months and office, what's going on with Hillary and Bernie, and slow-jammed the news with Questlove and the Roots.
