Madonna Performs Emotional "Tears Of A Clown" Concert With Kylie Minogue In Attendance

Call it "Clown-fessions on a Dancefloor."

Madonna is in Australia for her first tour there in 23 years, but she had something special in store for her fans Down Under.

After some cryptic social media posts, the Queen of Pop announced she would be performing an intimate stripped down show titled "Tears of A Clown" for fan-club members at Melbourne's historic Forum Theater.

"I wanted to do something special for Australia because you have been so patient and waited so long," said Madonna, Madonna who is also playing Brisbane and Sydney.

"The 'Tears of a Clown' show will make its debut on March 10th.‎ Performance art, comedy, story telling and music of course! Especially for you my Rebel Heart fans down under!!"

Only 1,500 lucky fans were able to witness the circus live, but Periscope user Cheeconay filmed the entire show for the rest of us.

"Tears of A Clown" also describes Madge's look for the evening: The "Lucky Star" singer rode out on a tiny tricycle dressed in a clown costume that was a far cry from her darker Rebel Heart aesthetic.

The setlist consisted of emotional ballads and rarely performed songs such as "X-Static Process," "Nobody's Perfect" and "Mer Girl." "I didn't say this was going to be a cheerful show," remarked Madonna before singing "Paradise (Not For Me)" from Music.

Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue was reportedly in attendance. Rumors swirled of a possible on-stage duet after Guy Oseary posted a selfie with Kylie.

Kylie never did take the stage, but she was spotted in the VIP section and everyone "went wild" when she stuck her head out to see the crowd.

The "Tears of a Clown" show was being recorded and is expected to be included on the Rebel Heart tour DVD.

Check out the Tears of a Clown setlist below and pray that she brings her circus show stateside soon. (Maybe Bianca del Rio can open?)
