Madonna shocked concertgoers in Taipei, Taiwan Thursday night by whipping out her 1994 hit single “Take A Bow” and performing it live for the first time in concert.
“That was fun!” she told the audience. “First time ever. Hit a few bad notes, but it felt good to sing it.”
The song topped Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for seven weeks after its release but Madge has only sung it live once before, at the 1995 American Music Awards to promote the release of her Bedtime Stories album three months prior.
Madonna’s stop in Taiwan marks the beginning of the last leg of her six month-long and much-publicized Rebel Heart Tour. Most recently, she made headlines for her touching David Bowie tribute performance in Texas.
