Madonna Has To Deal With The Same Shit You Do

The singer showcases her "resting bitch face" while dealing with some relatable frustrations.

Celebrities, they’re just like us. And Madonna has the Instagram photo to prove it.

The Material Girl recently moved from New York to Portugal to work on new music and an upcoming film, but she’s having a hard time adjusting to the policies in her new country.

The 59-year-old posted a frustrated selfie to her Instagram account on Tuesday with the caption, “When you’ve been arguing with customs all week that you really are Madonna and they still won’t release your package.” Everyone who isn’t Madonna can relate to these daily frustrations all too well, but the pop star is proving that even she isn’t immune to the hassles of everyday life.

Despite the setback, the singer seems thrilled about her new home, writing in another post that “the energy of Portugal is so inspiring.”

“I feel creative and alive here,” she wrote. “It’s time to conquer the world from a different vantage point.”

Madonna is adapting the novel The Impossible Lives of Greta Wells into her upcoming movie, Loved, which will focus on time travel and evolving attitudes toward sexuality.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she explained she’s interested in the book’s themes of “women’s rights, gay rights, civil rights.” We already can’t wait to find out more, but first thing’s first—Madonna is going to need her package, Portugal.
