NOW VIDEO: 5 Best Madonna Live Performances

Madonna is not the world’s most amazing singer, let’s get that out of the way right off the bat. She is, however, amazing at putting together perfectly choreographed and acted performances while delivering vocals that blend seamlessly with a backing track, you know, assuming she has one. So, in anticipation of this Sunday’s Super Bowl performance, here are our five favorite Madonna live performances.

“Ray of Light” — Live 8 (2005)
Probably the most difficult of her songs to perform given how uptempo it is, Madonna sounds and looks great in front of one of her biggest crowds ever while performing in London for the international Live 8 concert.

“Hung Up” — Grammys (2006)
Madonna and Gorrilaz put together this amazing show opener that had Madonna showing off her amazing body in a barely there leotard and dancing perfectly with two holograms. Not an easy feat.

“Don’t Tell Me” — ReInvention Tour (2004)
Call us crazy, but we think this may be all Madonna singing and, as always, dancing perfectly.

“Express Yourself” — Blond Ambition Tour (1990)
The infamous cone bra makes its debut. The world of music and fashion would never be the same again.

“Vogue” — Video Music Awards (1990)
Madonna’s greatest theatrical spectacle (sorry Evita) and live performance to date. We have to assume this is the one she wants to top with Sunday’s Super Bowl performance. Good luck.
