Magic Johnson, Mickey Rourke Slam Manny Pacquiao For Attacks On Gay People

"So my opinion on that is he’s a f**king idiot."

Manny Pacquiao was already dropped as a spokesperson by Nike after saying that gay people were "worse than animals," and now other celebrities are speaking out against the homophobic boxer.

Magic Johnson took to Twitter to share his disgust with Pacquiao's comments:

"I applaud Nike for terminating Manny Pacquiao’s contract after his derogatory statements that gay people are worse than animals. Fans of all walks of life, including gay fans, supported May/Pac fight putting $100M in his pocket. I guess to him their money is still green. I won’t be watching another one of Manny Pacquiao’s fights."

Former WWE wrestler and Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista said the comments hit to close to home, and didn't hold back his disdain for the boxer's bigoted words.

"So my opinion on that is he’s a f**king idiot," Bautista said. "My mom happens to be a lesbian so I don’t f**king take that shit. I don’t think it’s funny. If anyone called my mother an animal I’d stick my foot in his ass. That’s his opinion, but I’m saying I don’t appreciate it."

Mickey Rourke also weighed in, even sharing that "he's a little bit gay himself."

He said:

"I think they were wrong and out of place and I think that we all got to watch what we say. That was from the Old Testament he was quoting, so you got to give him a little bit of room. But I got a lot of gay friends. I’m a little bit gay myself."
