New "Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again" Trailer Has Even More Cher
Mamma Mia, my my, how can we resist you?
The summer sequel blockbuster we have all been waiting for, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, is almost upon us, and today the final trailer has been released leading up to the film's release—and this preview includes even more Cher, who is now "committed to being a grandmother" to Sophie (Amanda Seyfried).
In addition to seeing more flashback scenes of a young Donna, played by Lily James (who you might recognize from Downton Abbey and Cinderella), the trailer includes Cher's arrival—like we saw in previous previews—and her dancing with Andy Garcia beneath a fireworks-filled sky.
We get to hear Cher's version of the ABBA classic, "Fernando," which just happens to be the name of Garcia's character. Is there love in the air?
We love that we are seeing more Cher, but Meryl Streep barely appears in the preview, which further proves our theory that Donna of Donna and the Dynamos has gone to the giant discotheque in the sky.
