Man Arrested Over Disappearance Of Rosie O’Donnell’s Daughter

Steven Sheerer was charged with third degree child endangerment and third degree distribution of obscenity to a minor.

We reported that Rosie O’Donnell’s missing daughter, Chelsea, was found in a stranger’s house earlier this week, and now Steven Sheerer has been arrested for endangering the welfare of a minor.

Chelsea had been missing for a week when police found her in a New Jersey home with Sheerer, who is a convicted drug offender.

After O’Donnell gave police permission to search the cell phone Chelsea had been using, they discovered “evidence of inappropriate communications over the last several weeks between Sheerer and the minor.”

Sheerer has allegedly been previously charged with child endangerment and heroin possession in 2012, and could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted of his current charges.
