Early last week a big massive RuPaul’s Drag Race billboard took over a huge corner storefront window in the hub of gay NYC, right at the corner of 8th Avenue and 22nd Street in Chelsea. That very day, I hit the streets with a cameraperson (thanks Jessie!) to get people’s response to RuPaul, the new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and the big images of all the contestants plastered larger-than-life along Chelsea’s main drag (pun intended).
This is also the very first installment of a weekly online video series, Drag Ya Later with Jon & John, that I’ll be doing with my fellow “drag hag” Jon Mallow. So look our for more drag dish, Drag Race episode recaps and general kiki-ing coming next week!

And yes, this is the same RuPaul billboard that got a few old Chelsea grumps‘ knickers in a twist. Waah waaaaahhhh… Some people can’t handle beauty.
