“Man V. Food” Host Adam Richman Loses 60 Pounds, Poses Nude For Cosmo

adam richman USEAdam Richman, the former host of the Travel Channel’s  Man v. Food  has undergone a major weight loss—and is showing off the results in a nude centerfold in the latest issue of  Cosmopolitan UK.

Richman, who now helms the NBC game show Food Fighters lost 60 pounds since Man V. Food ended in December 2011. He says his feelings about his weight sent him into a depression.

“To go from hating the way I looked to being a Cosmo centerfold is a profound honor,” Richman told the magazine. “If you’re a guy who’s always been the fun-to-be-around teddy bear, then all of a sudden people are viewing you as sexy, it’s nice.”

The 40-year-old Brooklyn native revealed he shed the pounds by upping his workout, cutting out white flour and being more sensible in his diet.  “People expect me to order the biggest, richest dish, but it’s nice saying no,” Richman told People. “I’m no human [vacuum cleaner].”
