Mariah Carey Shades "American Idol," Calls It "Worst Experience Of My Life!"

As American Idol prepares to start production on its final season, we can assume we'll see a lot of familiar faces from seasons past returning for the celebration. But don't expect Mariah Carey to be one of them.

When recently asked by Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O if she'd ever return to Idol, Mariah responded, "Hell no! Absolutely not! That was the worst experience of my life!" No mincing words there.

Carey's time at the judges' table focused more on her feud with fellow judge Nicki Minaj, than on the contestants themselves, and the diva had something to say about that too.

"I’m not going to get into what it was. Let’s just say, I don’t think they had any interest in us having a good experience through that show. Pitting two females against each other wasn’t cool…it should have been about the contestants instead of about some non-existent feud that turned into even more ridiculousness."

But wait, there's more. She then proceeded to call the show out for being fake.

“It’s so boring and so fake…I’m sorry … when I say it’s fake, I mean … you have to make up things to say about people. Half the time, the performances are good, you just [want to] be like, ‘It was good.’ You just feel like ending it there, like, ‘It’s really good.’"

Spill that tea, Mimi.
