Mark Consuelos Is Down To Get Pegged On Season 3 Of "Broad City"
As previously reported, Season 2 of Broad City pushed many boundaries (the mirror masturbation scene comes to mind), but none more hilariously WTF than when Abbi was tasked with pegging her neighbor Jeremy (with his "all-natural, custom Shinjo, no less).
Back in May, co-creator and star Abbi Jacobson revealed that the role of Jeremy was originally written for none other than Mark Conseulos, but due to his commitment to the Amazon series Alpha House, he was forced to pull out (pun not not intended).
In a new interview with Out Magazine, Conseulos is opening up (okay that pun, totally intended) about his missed opportunity stating, “It’s one of those big tragedies of my career that I wasn’t going to be involved in a show with Amy Poehler and those two girls."
What did Conseulos think about his almost-character's infamous pegging scene? “They had to explain it to me,” he recalled with a laugh, adding “Hey, listen, anything to be on the show.”
Anything, Mark? ANYTHING?!
Alas, all hope is not lost. "I'm going to beg them to be on season three," he revealed. Seeing has Jeremy is no longer around, perhaps Consuelos could play Jeremy's long-lost cousin, Steve.
Or maybe he could follow in his wife Kelly Ripa's Shape-ups and play himself.
