27 Marvelous Photos From Chicago Market Days

It was a gay old time in Northalstead!

More than 300,000 people gathered in Chicago's Boystown neighborhood over the weekend for the annual Market Days celebration, the biggest outdoor festival in the Midwest.

Held between Addison Street and Belmont Avenue on Halstead, the LGBT-centric gathering included performances from Big Freedia, Brian Justin Crum, Inaya Day, Steve Grand, and '80s pop princess Tiffany. (Lana Wachowski and a bevy of Drag Race queens were also in town.)

“To host one of the biggest and longest running festivals in Chicago in such a vibrant neighborhood, naturally draws people from all over the city, state, country and beyond," said Chad Honeycutt, director of the Northalsted Business Alliance. "It’s truly a welcoming and wonderful weekend to experience a fantastic array of music and enjoy the area and all of our offerings.”
