Matt Bomer's "American Horror Story" Scene Was So Gory, So Wrong—And So Damn Hot (SPOILERS)
Serial killers murdering gay guys is a Hollywood cliche—one we rightly called "bullshit" on years ago. But if anyone has the right to dredge up that old trope it's American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy. The guy gave us The Normal Heart, Glee and four seasons of Jessica Lange owning every frame of AHS.
So if he wants to dig back into the vault of disturbing Hollywood stereotypes, we're not gonna call him out. We're sure there was a deeper psychosexual/sociopolitical point he was trying to make besides getting Matt Bomer and Finn Wittrock in their not-very tightie-whities.
This week on American Horror Story: Freak Show, Dandy Mott has picked up the killer clown mantle from Twisty. On the hunt for some strange, he hits a gar bar, where Matt Bomer's gay hustler has just shot down strongman Dell.
Dandy lures Andy back to his romantic shed for some action. Of course, Andy thinks its gonna be hot man-on-man action—which, in a way, it was. Just not the way he'd have liked.
Here's how it went down, in gif form!
Dandy has a naughty idea
He gets all buff for his night out
Too much oil!
The right outfit is key.
Now to find us a man at the gay bar
Dandy brings Andy back to his little cottage
Andy's definitely DTF
Awkward!
"Oh c'mon, let's just have sex and then lose each other's numbers!"
My, grandma, what big UNDERWEAR you have!
Warning: Ultraviolence on the next page.
And then the stabbiness happens.
But look, Dandy still wants to hold hands.
