Matt Bomer fans will not have to wait until this summer to see the genetically blessed actor in Magic Mike as his series White Collar is returning this evening, and picking up right where it left of;with the kidnapping of Matt’s partner’s wife. Will he save the day?
As for what the new season will bring, viewers can look forward to Matt going undercover as a prep school teacher, reconnecting with former flame Hilarie Burton and maybe, just maybe, losing that ankle bracelet.
Matt also teased the arrival of a new guest star, and close friend, Joe Manganiello of True Blood fame. “It’s kind of a Rear Window-themed episode and he was fantastic and that was so fun. And then Magic Mike came after that,” Matt explained.
Ah yes, Magic Mike, the movie everyone is beginning to talk about. Matt said of his character: “I play Ken, who’s sort of, I guess, a modern day southern hippie who’s really trying to break out of the regional commercial market and get his big break as an actor and break into the national market and balance his sort of hedonistic lifestyle and wanting to kind of get out of it at the same time.”
Matt also promised that viewers would not be disappointed, saying the drama has everything: heart, a “coming of age story” and, of course, lots and lots of torsos.
