Matt Damon is not a gay man, and no one thinks he is a gay man, but back when he shot to fame with the film Good Will Hunting, there were many claiming Matty and his BFF Ben Affleck were more than just friends.
Well, Matt was asked about those rumors in the new issue of Playboy and, jut when you think you cannot possibly love Mr. Damon anymore, he finds a way.
“I never denied those rumors because I was offended and didn’t want to offend my friends who were gay,” Damon told the mag, “as if being gay were some kind of fuc*king disease. It put me in a weird position in that sense.”
He then went on to say, “But look, there have been great signs of progress—the fact that Anderson Cooper and Ellen DeGeneres can come out so beautifully and powerfully, and it’s a big fuc*ing deal that it turns out nobody gives a shit.”
Matt Damon is just the greatest.
