Maybelline Signs Its First Male Spokesmodel

Manny Mua is definitely born with it.

On the heels of CoverGirl's tapping makeup artist James Charles as its first Coverboy, Maybelline has signed its very own male spokesmodel: social influencer Manny Gutierrez, a.k.a. Manny Mua.

Mua has two million subscribers on YouTube and three million Instagram followers, making him a prime pick for the cosmetics powerhouse. He stars alongside fellow web celeb Shayla Mitchell in the makeup brand's new campaign, "That Boss Life."

"I'm thrilled to be able to work with a global brand like Maybelline that is recognizing male influencer talent and is willing to shine a spotlight on it," Mua wrote in a statement.

Earlier this week, MAC announced that it would be debuting a 15-piece gender-neutral line inspired by Caitlyn Jenner.

“Caitlyn Jenner has fearlessly shared her transition with the world, and her new MAC Collection continues that mission, proudly championing all ages, all races and all sexes,” a MAC spokesperson said in a press release.
