Fred Karger is gay, outdoorsy and hoping to be your GOP Prez-titute!
If you’ve been paying attention to the GOP race to snag the 2012 Presidential nomination, you’ve been inundated with bat-sh*t Michele Bachmann, defensive Mitt Romney, boorish Rick Perry, heinous Rick Santorum, fusty Ron Paul and ludicrous Herman Cain — and then there’s Gingrich and Huntsman and… Oy! (What? Biased? Me?) But believe it or not, there’s an even-tempered Republican out there jockeying for your approval — and he’s a GAY!
Yep, Fred Karger is a very feisty, fighting-to-gain-attention, hard-scrabble longtime gay GOP-ster, and he’s doing his darnedest to work his way into the political conversation. (Hmmmm, he should have skipped this whole Presidential campaign and gotten cast on “A-List: Dallas.” That little Gay-OP’er Taylor has been hogging the spotlight of late.)
Anyway, our fine colleague over at Comedy Central‘s 2012 campaign-obsessed “Indecision Forever” blog, Mary Phillips-Sandy, sat down with Karger to find out how his scrappy fight for recognition is going, why Romney is a grump, and why Santorum is a killjoy (among other things).
