Meet The Serbian Hunk Playing 7-And-A-Half-Foot Tall Colossus in "Deadpool"

He's super-sized.

Mutant X-man Colossus returns to the big screen this February in Fox's Deadpool, looking bigger and tougher than ever.

And chrome-ier.

Piotr Rasputin was played by Canadian actor Daniel Cudmore in X2, X-Men: The Last Stand, and X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

This time around, though, the Russian superhero is voiced and performed via motion-capture by 37-year-old Serbian actor Stefan Kapicic.

Kapicic, who was a last-minute replacement for the role, spoke to EW about the role, and becoming part of the Marvel legacy.

"My grandfather bought me my first Marvel comic book when I was 6 years old, and since then, it has been an ongoing love.

It was an X-Men comic book.

Becoming a part of the Marvel Universe was my childhood dream: Like most kids growing up, I read a lot of comic books and acted out some of the characters with friends.

Since I can remember, I wanted to be a superhero, so it’s not just a movie for me or just another role. It’s a fulfillment of my dreams on so many levels.

Kapicic could fulfill a few of our dreams, if you know what we mean.

And he has nothing but praise for Deadpool's star.

"There is no actor in the world with such talent and charm that could play Deadpool as well as Ryan Reynolds," he declared. "Working with him was a fantastic experience, and his ideas and suggestions helped me out a lot."

The new Colossus can be seen (briefly) in this NSFW trailer for Deadpool, the first R-rated Marvel superhero film.

Deadpool opens on February.
