Alex Minsky has shown us that disability is no barrier to beauty, but model-singer Viktoria Modesta is poised to take it to the next level when the "bionic pop star" unveils her mindbending music video tonight during the finale of The X Factor UK.

Some 10 millions viewers will be tuning in for the show and will see Modesta, whose left leg was amputated when she was 20, in"Prototype," a Lady Gaga-meets-V for Vendetta music video with stunning visuals.

In the video, Viktoria is the inspiration for rebellion in a totalitarian regime—her "otherness" inspiring the public and threatening the totalitarian regime.

"In sports, ‘overcoming' a disability makes you a hero, but in pop there is no place for these feelings," says the Latvian performer, 26. "I have never felt comfortable thinking of myself as disabled and this has inspired me to actively challenge old-fashioned views and create a platform in mainstream pop culture, with other artists, where I have always known I belonged."

The spot is part of the Born Risky campaign from Channel 4, which funded the video.

"Pop stars these days are painfully dull and manufactured," said Channel 4's John Allison. "Viktoria embodies our [mission] of championing alternative voices and establishing new talent."

The ad will be shown on Sunday night during the X Factor final, which will see Andrea Faustini, Ben Haenow and Fleur East compete to become champion.
