Meet Your Kid Flash, Kate Pierson Gets Hitched, And This Guy Tried To Marry His Lawnmower: BRIEFS

Birthday shoutouts go to Jocelyn Wildenstein (above), who is 75, Pete Burns is 56, Tawny Kitaen is 54, Maureen McCormick is 59, Erika Slezak is 69, and Loni Anderson is 70.

Video: Is this a 'demon' racing in front of Obama? I weep for our world.

Nicole Wallace will not be back in a demoted role next season on The View, and will exit entirely this month. So they get rid of the classy, intelligent Nicole to bring in ... Candace Cameron Bure.

The surprising reason execs didn't want Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain: They didn't think he was macho enough?

Here's the trailer for Deadpool. Love the little dig at Ryan's ill-fated Green Lantern.

Insurgent star Keiynan Lonsdale has been cast as a series regular in Season Two of The Flash. "Lonsdale will join the series this winter playing Wally West, an iconic character from The Flash Universe who became the speedster known as Kid Flash." I approve this casting.

HBO has released the official trailer for Season Two of The Leftovers, which premieres on October 4th. Not since Laverne & Shirley's ill-advised move to Hollywood has an entire cast up and moved to a new town.

Big congrats to Kate Pierson, who married wife Monica Coleman in Hawaii!

Hump day with Adam Lambert! He's still in Australia.

And here's The Weekly ShoutOUT™. Each week we're going to focus on one out athlete/performer and feature a daily pic and career timeline. We'll be showcasing the big names, but also the lesser-known gay celebs who deserve more recognition. This week we give a ShoutOUT™ to ... Nicholas Rodriguez

Nicholas starred in 20 episodes of the web series Then We Got Help, as one half of a gay couple joining three other couples for group therapy

We've counted down the 100 greatest top ten hits by female artists of the 80's and 90's, so let's take the Wayback Machine even further back and count down the 100 greatest top ten hits by female artists ... OF THE 70'S! There are only two rules - Every song must have hit the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100, and they all must be performed by female vocalists, either solo or as part of a group. You'll be hearing the classics from Olivia, Barbra, Linda, Carly, ABBA, Diana and the other icons, of course, but also great AM Gold treasures you probably haven't heard for years.

AND NOW THE TOP TEN! Finally, we've reached the top of the top, the ten greatest. At #4 is "Last Dance"

Our final moment with Donna (but she has had more songs on this list than any other artist) is fittingly, one of the iconic moments of the disco era. Co-producer Bob Etsy explains how it came to be:

"I changed some of the chords and extended the 'hook' to repeat three times to finish the last phrase of the chorus. I also added a bridge to build to a climax and suggested a ballad intro à la "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" [the Diana Ross version] and another ballad in the middle of the song building again to a high note for the last chorus ending. To our knowledge, this had never been done in a disco track."

The song (from the Thank God It's Friday soundtrack) would win the Golden Globe and Academy Award, and the Grammy for R&B Vocal Performance. It peaked at #3 in August 1978.

Congrats to lazycrockett, who guessed that yesterday's Pixuzzle™ © ® was Clash of The Titans.

Here's today's Pixuzzle™ © ®. Here is a scene from a FAMOUS MOVIE. Can you name it?
