Megan Fox no longer considers Marilyn Monroe to be a role model. The star of the Transformers movies and This Is 40 told Esquire that she is undergoing treatment to get a tattoo of Monroe removed from her right arm. “She was sort of like Lindsay,” says Fox, “She was an actress who wasn’t reliable, almost wasn’t insurable.”
Fox told Esquire that she wasn’t interested in ending up the way so many sex symbol celebs have before her, noting that she hates pills and alcohol and instead finds solace in church. In the interview, she talks extensively about her ambivalence towards celebrity, and also notes her belief in Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, aliens and leprechauns.
