Megan Mullally On Madonna's "Will & Grace" Guest Stint: "She Didn't Know Our Real Names!"
In case you've been living under a rock you know that Will & Grace is returning for a 10-episode season later this year.
Now that the cat is out of the bag, the show's stars can finally comment on how the revival came to be—the first one being Megan Mullally who swung by Jimmy Kimmel and spilled the beans.
"We didn't know until the day before yesterday that it was officially coming back," Mullally told Kimmel about the rumors of the revival becoming a reality.
In the interview Mullally explains how the political short the cast filmed last year wasn't meant to be a teaser for more episodes, just a fun one-time deal, but the response was so overwhelming that NBC ordered a new season.
Mullally then talked about all of the big celebrity guest stars that made a cameo on the series—including the Queen of Pop, Madonna.
"Madonna is really cool, really nice and worked really hard," she told Kimmel. But even though Madonna was great on the show, didn't really know the names of the actors once filming stopped.
"So she'd be like "Hi, Will, hi Grace?" Kimmel asked.
"Yeah, kinda," Mullally explained with a laugh.
Listen to her Madonna tale and about the time Cher guest starred and the "Believe" singer invited Sean Hayes to her Italian castle for Thanksgiving.
