Gottmik Inspires Megan Thee Stallion’s Hellraising Halloween Look

Hey, gorge!

Legends recognize legends, and Megan Thee Stallion’s Gottmik-inspired Halloween look is no exception.

The “WAP” icon appears to have taken inspo from a certain RuPaul’s Drag Race alum for her latest “Hottieween” look: a sexed-up Pinhead from Hellraiser. Meg shared photos of her stunning costume with her 25.9 million Instagram followers on Monday (October 25).

“Pain has a face,” she captioned the gallery. “Allow me to show you. Gentlemen I am pain 🩸.”

Eagle-eyed Drag Race viewers were quick to notice similarities between Meg’s costume and Gottmik’s Pinhead-inspired look from the Season 13 finale. The drag performer and professional makeup artist — who broke ground as Drag Race’s first trans-masculine contestant — is also known for her white face makeup and dark, dramatic eye looks.

Zerina Akers, Meg’s stylist, also shared the photos in an Instagram post crediting Gottmik as inspiration.

But don’t worry, the recognition goes both ways. In a comment on Akers’s post, the Drag Race Season 13 runner-up said she was “obsessed” with Meg’s take on Pinhead.

It’s safe to say Hellraiser is having a moment in the zeitgeist. The 1980s horror franchise is currently being rebooted for Hulu. Just a few weeks ago, The L Word: Generation Q star Jamie Clayton, a beloved transgender actress, officially joined the cast as the new Pinhead. (Gottmik reportedly auditioned for the role, although there’s no word on whether Meg threw her pin-covered hat in the ring.)

We just have one question for Ms. Stallion: Is she still on the hunt for a new girlfriend?
