Mel B Joins Salt-N-Pepa To Perform "Wannabe" And "Push It" At VH1's "Big Music In 2015: You Oughta Know"
In an iconic moment that melted the insides of '90s kids everywhere, The Spice Girls' Mel B was joined on stage by Salt-N-Pepa at VH1's Big Music In 2015: You Oughta Know concert last night for a brief mash-up performance of "Push It" and "Wannabe."
Mel B served as host of the festival-style show, which has showcased unforgettable performances by talented up-and-coming artists since 2005, and kicked things off with the legendary duet.
"Since I am the host, I can make anything happen, including bringing up surprise guests," she said as she introduced Salt-N-Pepa's Cheryl "Salt" James and Sandra "Pepa" Denton:
Shortly before the surprise performance, Mel B opened the show with a funny skit that showed her costuming process. Turns out nobody picked an outfit for her, so she spends time trying on everyone else's:
