Melissa spoke with Entertainment Tonight, revealing that she and her 14-year-old-son, Cooper, scattered some of Joan's ashes during a recent trip to Wyoming.

Melissa, 47, said she and her 14-year-old son, Cooper, scattered some of the late Joan Rivers’ ashes in Wyoming last month "so we can still be together every August as a family.”

Rivers revealed that she will "go to work and come home and light a candle and have a glass of wine" on Friday, to commemorate the first year of life without her mother.

“Cooper and I talk about what would be the best way to honor her legacy, and the best way to honor her legacy is to be OK.”

Today, E! network announced that they will air a tribute special, Celebrating Joan, on September 3, the eve of the one-year anniversary of Rivers’ death, at 8pm.

We miss you, Joan.
