Meme: Robbie Williams Is 49% Homosexual, Daniel Tosh Hosts Macy's ThanksGAYving Parade, Dame Judi Dench Forgets Her Wild Night In HEAVEN

Matthew Mitcham raises funds for Twists & Turns cabaret, the Justice League has an awkward Thanksgiving, is Grindr good for your health?

Cyndi Lauper Billy PorterBilly Porter and Cyndi Lauper are among the stars in this year’s GAP Christmas campaign entitled “Make Love.” This isn’t the first time that GAP has featured openly gay stars and allies in their Christmas campaigns.

The Church of England is taking steps to formalize church blessings on same-sex marriages and civil unions. They won’t be able to solemnize marriages without changes to the law, but recognize the importance to some GLBT folks of having the church bless their love.

Catching Fire is expected to dominate the five day weekend period in the states, bringing in another $100 million, with Disney’s Frozen taking second place with $85 million, and Thor: The Dark World holding on to third with $16 million.

In this time of plenty, it’s important to remember those that don’t have anything, which includes hundreds of thousands of GLBT youth. Maybe it’s time to put the Ali Forney Center on your Christmas list?

Robbie WilliamsRobbie Williams may be trying to be fun and inclusive, but his talk about his sexuality is starting to sound stereotypical and offensive. “I would really like to have a crack at it. I love musical theatre and a lot of the other things that are often associated with gays. I am 49% homosexual and sometimes as far as 50%. However, that would imply that I enjoy having a particular sort of fun which I don’t.” I really thought 49% homosexual meant that you had a really fun summer at band camp as a teenager.

Thanks to the help of a federal judge, terminally ill Vernita Gray was able to marry her partner Patricia Ewert in Illinois. The judge said that the two should not be denied the bonds of marriage based on an arbitrary start date. Perhaps nobody should?

To commemorate World AIDS Day the Obama Administration renewed their commitment to the fight against HIV/AIDS and the stigma attached to the disease. “My Administration remains committed to reducing the stigma and disparities that fuel this epidemic. Beginning in 2014, the Affordable Care Act will require health insurance plans to cover HIV testing without any additional out-of-pocket costs. It will also prohibit discrimination based on HIV status and eliminate annual benefit caps. Under this law, we have already expanded Medicaid for working class Americans and banned lifetime limits on insurance coverage.”

Evan Rachel WoodEvan Rachel Woods is not happy that the MPAA required her sex scene in Charlie Countryman to be censored. The scene in question involved Shia LeBeouf’s character performing oral sex on her. “This is a symptom of a society that wants to shame women and put them down for enjoying sex, especially when (gasp) the man isn’t getting off as well! Its hard for me to believe that had the roles been reversed it still would have been cut OR had the female character been raped it would have been cut. Its time for people to GROW UP. Accept that woman are sexual beings Accept that some men like pleasuring woman. Accept that woman don’t have to just be f**ked and say thank you. We are allowed and entitled to enjoy ourselves. Its time we put our foot down. Thanks for listening.” I guess she married the right man.

Another case of school firewalls blocking anything that has to do with GLBT content, and how it hurts equality. Seriously, same-sex marriage is blocked?

The Texas National Guard has come to an agreement with the Pentagon about processing same-sex benefits for married personnel. Under the agreement, federal employees on the state owned bases will process the benefits on federal computer systems. Which is always what was going to happen, but saying it this way makes it look better to Texas.Jim Simkhai

Jim Simkhai, the CEO of Grindr, thinks his app is good for the health and image of gay guys. "I’m very proud if Grindr has forced us to up up our game. To brush our teeth. Comb our hair. Eat right. Go to the gym. Be a healthy person. Cut back on the smoking. Cut back on the bad things and look your best. We’re men. We visualize. We see before we hear, before we think, before we do anything else. That’s how we are. I haven’t changed that. That’s what our evolution has taught us to do. I certainly go to the gym more because of Grindr. I’m competing with the guy a space away from me on that grid." But are we not sure that it doesn’t impose unrealistic images on us and result in shaming of those who don’t measure up?

James Franco will be making his Broadway debut in in Of Mice and Men opposite Chris O’Dowd.

Daniel Tosh understands just how gay the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is, so he's ready for it to come out of the closet, and he's willing to host the new Macy's ThanksGAYving Day Parade, with new takes on your favorite characters.

While the rest of us are getting fat on turkey, Dan Feuerriegel is in the gym in what he calls "beast mode" getting leaner. I work out six days/week, and just watching him exhausts me.

Dame Judi Dench wants us to all believe that she's never been clubbing, but of course she has, and Graham Norton was there to witness her night at the gay club Heaven. Even if she doesn't remember the evening, he does, and Sir Elton is there to give a bit of colorful commentary on her clubbing habits.

Matthew Mitcham is now taking his little cabaret hobby into something bigger. He's designing a show based on his autobiography Twists & Turns, and wants to take it on the road. But to take it on the road, he's raising some cash, and you can help, and he has some great prizes for those who help, from tickets to the show to signed trunks, some of which he may have even worn. You can contribute here.

Kmart has been on a tear lately with commercials designed to make them look hip, from Ship My Pants to Jingle Bells. Their latest is a little more subtle, and not likely to anger One Million Moms, but hey, they get the internet, right?

All families have their conflicts when they get together for Thanksgiving, but the friendships in the Justice League are tenuous to start with. While it's fun to see Superman lose his temper, my favorites here are Batman and Aquaman. Poor Aquaman just can't catch a break, can he? He always comes across as a loser.

The Atlantic has visualized the distinct dialects in the United States based on how we pronounce things, and which words we chose to represent common items like soda. I admit that I grew up saying "pop" but decades away made me switch to "soda." I've never understood people who use "coke" for everything.

I may think that I work out hard, but if I can be Pat Robertson's age and do 1,000 lbs. leg presses, I'll be golden. I can only do half that now, at half his age. Hey - maybe that's it - as I get older, I can start doing ridiculous weights. Seriously, doesn't the Bible have a thing against lying?

This television spot from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug gives us a peek at the first meeting of Bilbo and the titular dragon, which would be more than a little terrifying.

Finally, because it's Thanksgiving weekend, I'm thankful for this behind the scenes video of an N2N Bodywear photoshoot. I'm also grateful that most of you aren't at work today, because it's absolutely NSFW.
