Meme: “Teen Wolf” Most Shippable Show Ever, Uganda Wants To Ban Bail for Homosexuality and Rapists, Michelle Rodriguez Did Not Confirm Her Relationship

First look at Warehouse 13, Scott Lively defends Ugandan law, the bunny apocalypse Buffy warned us about

sterekTeen Wolf might just be the most shippable show on television. Possibly in television history. Sure, we all know about Sterek, Sciassic, and Stydia, but when I read this Buzzfeed list of all the ships there were some– like Kerek– that I’d never considered.

As Ugandan President Museveni prepares to sign the anti-homosexuality bill into law, he’s now pushing for a constitutional amendment that would ban bail for rapists and homosexuals. He’s also recently said that he’s willing to keep Uganda poor by giving up international aid to criminalize homosexuality.

VH1 is launching a show called Naked Dating, which will have one man and one woman who will each date two naked suitors (this seems to allow for gay Christopher Malcolmdates), in the buff. The idea is the show “stripped away the artifices of our modern world and revealed their ultimate, honest selves.” VH1 says that the show will be edited to network standards, which seems to take all the fun out of it.

Christopher Malcolm, long suffering ex-husband of Edina in Absolutely Fabulous, has passed away at age 67. He was the original Brad Majors in the first stage production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1974.

If you thought former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg was a spoilsport trying to outlaw large sodas, California may be trying to one-up him. Everything in California seems to be labeled as bad for you (everything I touched when I lived there seemed to say it caused cancer), and now they want to put obesity warning labels on every soda, much like cigarettes have.

Stock characters dominate television and movies. Cracked has put together a list of The 6 Male Characters Women Never Get To See In Movies, like The Homme Fatale, “He wants power and is not afraid to use sex to get it. Sometimes he keeps his fly unzipped as a way to get easy access to police files and lawyers’ offices. Other times he is hiding something behind him and attempts to distract the heroine by standing in front of it and lowering his pants suggestively while smiling and raising an eyebrow.”

Scott Lively, currently on trial for crimes against humanity for his anti-gay work in Africa, says the Ugandan law isn’t that bad. “I agree that the Ugandan law is overly harsh on its face, but this is typical of African criminal law across the continent. Poor countries with limited criminal justice systems tend to rely on the harshness of the letter of the law to be a deterrent to criminals. In practice, the sentencing is usually pretty lenient. Kenya, for example, has the death penalty for burglary, but burglars are definitely not being executed there. I’ve explained this phenomenon to over two dozen journalists at top media outlets that have interviewed me over the past couple of years, but none have included this perspective in their stories. I guess it would undermine their efforts to bolster the ’gay’ cause.”

The International Olympic Committee is defending the multiple arrests of former Italian MP Vladimir Luxuria for protesting for LGBT rights in Sochi. They claim Luxuria had planned to demonstrate in an Olympic venue, and “We would ask anyone to make their case somewhere else. Further, “I know her stated aim to demonstrate in the venue and I believe after a couple of hours when she finally got to the venue I think she was escorted from there peacefully, not detained.”

For the record, the quotes the Mirror ran from Michelle Rodriguez concerning her assumed relationship with Cara Delevingne are all made up. Her rep confirms that she never spoke to the Mirror.

Warehouse 13 is set to return in April for one final season, and the episodes are going to be emotional and action packed. You know we’ll be there for the final adventures of Pete, Myka, Claudia and our main man Steve. Here’s the first preview of the final season.

I’m fairly sure that Buffy warned us about this.

For a bit of an education on racism, crime, and punishment in the United States, watch the very different results of when a white man and an African-American man try to break into a car on a busy street.
