OK, dolls, it's time to talk cold and flu season. Because unless you're living like John Travolta in his Boy In The Plastic Bubble days (and THAT was a while ago,) you will have to deal with the Great Unwashed Masses and the diseases that plague them. At the first sign of a cough, sneeze or exhaustion not caused by more pleasant activities, take action fast with these items:

I swear by this every season and I'm (knock on wood) still not sick this year. Place a few drops of Aura Casia Pure Essential Eucalyptus Oil ($4.99) in a bowl of hot water, then tent your head with a towel and breathe deeply. It keeps your respiratory passages moist and clean so it's harder for viruses to stick. A few drops in your humidifier will gain you bonus points. Plus, your skin will glow.

Exfoliate all those nasties off in the shower with Bliss Hot Salt Scrub with Rosemary and Eucalyptus ($28), then wrap up super warm after you're out of the shower so you don't get chilled again.

Rather take a bath? Soak in something that's curing AND soothing. Jack Black Performance Remedy™ Body Rehab Scrub & Muscle Soak($35) is great after hard workouts (of all kinds), but it comes in really handy when you're nursing cold and flu symptoms.

You have to keep your hands clean but regular hand sanitizers are really drying. Go for something more luxurious, like Jurlique Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer ($15) to keep yourself from coming into further contact with more germs.

Finally, sleep is SO important when you're trying not to get sick (or already there), and this is when you need the sheet spray equivalent of a knock-out punch. The Good Home Co. Lavender Sheet Spray ($20) is perfect for when you're ill or when you just can quite get to sleep.

Remember to get plenty of rest (this would be the time to catch up on all the LOGO shows you've missed,) turn off your phone (you'll just have to clean it later so you don't reinfect) and drink plenty of fluids. Feel better, honey!
