Here's Your First Glimpse Of Meryl Streep And Hugh Grant In "Florence Foster Jenkins"
We've got the first look at Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant in their new movie, Florence Foster Jenkins.
Directed by Stephen Frears (Philomena, High Fidelity), the film is based on the true story of Jenkins, a Manhattan heiress who misguidedly sought an opera singing career in the early 20th century, despite not having a trace of musical talent.
Sort of the O.G. Paris Hilton.
Grant will play St. Clair Bayfield, an English actor and Jenkins' romantic partner, who shielded her from the terrible truth that she couldn't sing.
These two have charisma to spare, so Florence Foster Jenkins like a recipe for Oscar gold. We can't wait!
