Watch Meryl Streep Do Her RuPaul Impression At A Press Conference

Meryl Streep can play anything—an Australian murder suspect, an icy magazine editor, Julia frickin' Child. So it shouldn't be surprising the current Oscar nominee can channel Supermodel of the World RuPaul.
During a press conference for Into the Woods, Streep recounted being being invited to Stephen Sondheim's townhouse to discuss a song he had written expressly for her for the film adaptation of Into the Woods. After singing some of the tune—which sadly will only appear on the DVD release—Sondheim gave Streep some sage advice straight from the lips of Mama Ru.
Streep should get an Oscar nomination just for her re-enactment of the scene. Watch it below, (with the RuPaul shout-out at the 1:22 mark)
