Lady Gaga rocked the stage at the 59th annual Grammys when she collaborated with Metallica on a duet of “Moth Into Flame.”
Before the show, Gaga showed her excitement for teaming up with the metal gods by getting a tattoo of a large moth and skull on her back in the band’s honor.
Introducing the performance, Laverne Cox addressed the “ladies and gentleman and all my gender non-binary peeps watching tonight.”
She then used her time on the stage to draw attention to an upcoming Supreme Court case involving a Virginia trans teen fighting for the right to use the bathroom that matches his gender identity.
“Please Google Gavin Grimm,” Cox said. “He’s going to the Supreme Court in March. #StandWithGavin.”
