Michael B. Jordan Looks ABS-olutely Amazing On "Essence" Cover

"I drove 45 minutes to Barnes & Noble yesterday to find this."

Michael B. Jordan, and his career, are red hot.

After starring in the highest-earning superhero film of all time, the Black Panther villain is set to steam up the small screen in HBO's Fahrenheit 451, based on the 1953 novel by Ray Bradbury. To create some buzz for the film, Jordan graced the cover of Essence's June issue and apparently they didn't have a budget for a shirt (not that we're complaining).

The actor's fans took to the comment section to express their appreciation.

"I drove 45 minutes to Barnes & Noble yesterday to find this," disclosed one admirer. Another declared she's now seeking employment as an "oil lady" after the Creed star gave a shout out to "the baby oil lady" who assisted on the shoot in his Instagram caption.

If the still image leaves you longing for more, Essence just released the behind-the-scenes footage of the photoshoot.

By the way, the actor also gave the magazine an interview. In it, he discusses using his platform to advocate for diversity and inclusion in Hollywood. Back in March, the 31-year-old star was one of the first celebrities to announce he was adopting an inclusion rider, which ensures a certain level of diversity among a project's cast and crew. "Actions speak louder than words. I want to lead by example," Jordan told Essence.
