Michael Rosenbaum Is A Crook Turned Gay Preacher In TV Land Comedy "Impastor"

We remember Michael Rosenbaum as the bald but adorable Lex Luthor in Smallville, but now he's back—with a full head of hair!—in TV Land's new comedy, Impastor.

In the show, debuting July 15, Rosenbaum plays Buddy Dobbs, a gambler running from a loan shark who winds up posing as a small town's new gay pastor.

Less Than Perfect's Sara Rue plays his sweet but gossipy assistant, with out actor Mike Kosinski as Russell, a male secretary excited about the gay preacher's arrival, and David Rasche as an uptight town elder.

Of course the holy rollers at One Million Moms are up in arms, saying the network "has crossed the line by belittling the Christian religion with foul jokes."

That just makes us want to see it more.
