Millions of people rushed to movie theaters this weekend to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which crushed box office records everywhere.

But Michael Sam delivered a lump of coal for those who haven't been able to travel to a galaxy far, far away yet. The former NFL player tweeted out a pretty major spoiler from the film's second half (which we'll refrain from repeating).

Sam quickly deleted it and sent an apology was short but sweet.

But the spoiler was still seen by a large portion of the twitterverse, which was anything but impressed with his apology.
